Can you take a BMW 3 series 2008 to walmart or jiffylube for an oil change? What about an Infinity g35?

No you NEVER go to WallMart for anything! Search this forum and you will find many instances where WallMart broke the car and then told the owner it was now their problem an to please tow your broken car away from here at your own expense. A better alternative than the dealer is a trustworthy local independent shop or jiffy lube. Ive given you a link below where you can find one. Why not DIY? It%26#039;s not hard and a whole lot less expensive.

EDIT:

BTW Castrol as suggested by another answerer is a BP company FYI.|||One of the best sites i ever came across when i was looking into this feild was ecgo2buy.com,

99% of products are trustworthy, and the free shop website system is very good and can%26#039;t be exploited

|||Yes. Why?|||you can but they will most likely put crappy oil in it unless you bring them the oil and most of the time they dont wait long enough to let all the oil drain and often over torque the oil pan bolt and oil filter that is if they change it. they also sometimes forget to put plastic coverings back on properly and will not clean up there mess the oil filter makes on the engine.

it really depends on which one you go to but they are a business and try to do things speedy so they often skimp on important stuff. it is best to do it yourself.|||Yes you can, but like a previous poster said places will Walmart may just do a fast job.

The Costco around here does oil changes, and they actually have a lot of BMW/Lexus/Mercedes in the bay%26#039;s. I%26#039;ve heard really good comments about them, and they use Castrol oil.|||do it yourself. this way you know it is done right.i used to to work at a wal mart, and some of the people that r there really dont have a clue on what they are doing. I recommend using amsoil myself|||sure you can if you want inexperienced people working on your car.
