Today I got scammed for buying a phoney PS3 moded controller..... I payed them 20$.... I know i shud of tryed it out before buying but I cant go back in time....I politely calle dback and they ignored..... then i sent a polite email requesting my money back...... now me and my friends are pissed off and I want to break their windows of their house..... can they track me down? and call the cops? they have my email and my email has my name on it.....is there a way I can change my email name? or how should I resolve in this? can i call the cops?(they probally wont help)Can you Get in trouble for breaking a window?Yeah, you aren't supposed to damage people's property

Its not a criminal matter and you can't break into someone's house because you would be the one in jail. Its a civil matter meaning that you had a contract with this person and you need to sue him in civil court.

The cops won't do anything because it's your problem you bought an item that doesn't work. It sounds like you bought it off of craigslist or something.



If you break their windows it is very likely the cops will come looking for you because they already have your information. Just changing the name on your email will not change any emails you already sent them, they have the name on that already.



It's only $20. You'll be in much more than $20 worth of trouble if you break windows.



Just learn next time to make sure it works before you buy it, because they commited no crime. Caveat emptor.

You could try to take him to court over it. However, it would cost you more than $20 to file, making it worthless, and then you'd still have to prove he lied when he sold you the item.
So your upset and want to get some kind of revenge ? You and your buddies feel like going to the persons house and break a window. Typical coward. Why not go on your own and face the person face to face ? little sissy boy needs his boy friends to go with him.
