What would you like to see changed on your standard nutrition labels?

I don't mean obvious things like %26quot;less fat%26quot; or less salt... Just things like (for example): %26quot;I would like to see the amount of insoluble fibre/ amount of soluble fibre.%26quot; etc.

Thanks! What would you like to see changed on your standard nutrition labels?I would like all nutrition labels to list the source of natural flavorings. As it stands natural flavorings can be either animal or plant derived and I think we have a right to know what we're eating without constantly having to e mail the companies.

Two sugar categories like natural and altered. For example, most orange juices don't have added sugar. But yet there is still X amount of grams of sugar. This would be natural. I don't want to eat altered sugars thanks good question.

I'd like palm oil to have to be labelled on ingredients, rather than under the blanket title 'vegetable oil'.

I like the food labels on the front of Tesco and Sainsbury's products that indicate the amount of fat, salt, sugar, calories as a percentage of GDA.
I'd like to see more widespread veg*n certification.
I think I would like for them to lower the base caloric intake some. I mean, people don't need that many calories.
I'd like to know where any artificial flavoring comes from and why they use high fructose corn syrup instead of pure cane sugar. That's part of why so many Americans are so obese. If they would use cane sugar then soda wouldn't be so unhealthy and maybe chocolate would be better too.

COMPLETELY AGREE!
