If you can see somebody's status messages on their Profile does it mean they still have u on their MSN list?

For example i click somebody's profile on my MSN ..And see messages or latest status message and changing of pic..Does it mean they did not delete me...Also it says you are freinds with this person but when am logged out of my E-Mail it says you are not freinds with this person? any ideas?
