Can you get in trouble for making fun of a cop?

I was at a local baseball game recently and I went to use the restroom in the outside part of the park when a local city cop on a bicycle rode up to me and I felt he was being very rude, he started saying that the restroom was closed and that I should return to the park to use the restrooms there, I turned around to walk back to the park and he said %26quot;You better have a ride home tonight or else you'll be riding home in my car%26quot; I did absolutely nothing to offend him, I was very courteous when he told me to return to the park but still he just had to say something more (prime example of a cop on a power trip) so I turned around and said, %26quot;But sir you're riding a bike, and it doesn't seem to have an extra seat or pegs%26quot;

That set him off and he started throwing around his authority at me and I was very polite saying that I had done nothing wrong and was just pointing out the obvious fact that he was on a bike. However this did not change things and he was threatening to take me to the station and set me straight. I was growing bored of his antics so I decided I would say one more thing and then leave, I said %26quot;OK sir, if that is what it has to come to I have one request, can we please stop at Dunkin Donuts first, it's on the way%26quot; he got off his bike and got in my face and started screaming and I just stood there with a smile on my face and eventually another cop came by to see what was wrong and I explained to him and he told me to return to the baseball game which I did. I then went home and slept well.

So my question is, if that other officer had not come, what faux authority would the cop on the bike use to get me in trouble and what do you think that trouble would have been. Personally I feel that once I talked to a lawyer it would come to me demanding an apology from the officer in question and the entire department seeing as I was at no point showing the slightest hint of anger or aggression. Thanks in advance for the answers.Can you get in trouble for making fun of a cop?not really you complied with his orders and he made an unjust threat..

cussing is not a crime...above link
Cops are allowed to be rude to people. They aren't paid to be nice to people or to ask people politely to stop committing crimes. They're paid to ENFORCE THE LAW.

If you can't keep your mouth from flapping when there's a police officer around, then maybe you'd deserve to be taken into the station and straightened up. Do a search for %26quot;Officer Rivieri%26quot; and %26quot;skateboarding%26quot; and you'll find out how the law is really enforced.
You kids with these damn lies you tell in this site.
This is perhaps fake cop %26quot;OfficerAndreanas%26quot; worst guess as an answer she's passed off so far.

Cops do not fine people. The court fines people. A cop isn't going to fine you for saying a bad word.

When you think you've read the dumbest %26quot;answers%26quot; possible, you come to this.

Mind boggling. Read this nitwits questions about being a cop or getting a job from two weeks ago before she started pretending to be a cop:
