How to change the password on a Windows XP computer?

Hey, I don't mean the log in password, but the actual password for when you're starting up the computer. My mom put it on there and it's just really inconvenient, especially since that's where I get nearly all my flute music :/ How do I change it or change it to no password when I don't know the current password?

If you can tell me this, THANK YOU SO MUCH!How to change the password on a Windows XP computer? This should help you:

What we need to do is to power off computer, open the computer box, and then unplug the power plug of the computer to make sure that it is no electricity at all. Then locate the white silver button battery on the motherboard. Remove the battery carefully. Perhaps 30 seconds later, put back the battery.
1. Login to a computer that can link to Internet. Download windows Password key 8.0 and install it on that PC. Note that: there is a .ISO file. Burn the .ISO file to a CD or a USB flash drive.

2. Insert the newly created CD/USB drive to the locked computer.

3. Reboot the locked computer and press'F2'or'Delete'to enter your BIOS setup and then followed the process of instructions. Just a few steps, the old password was removed.
